Dennis Thompson
We had a great time with Dennis last Friday on the set of Ron Perry's Detroit Rocks Project film. DRP film is about the Heroes, Dreams, Passion, and Pride of the musicians of Detroit. To me all four of these categories sum up one band... the MC5. Don't get me wrong...I love many many bands and players but the Motor City 5 fought to save kids from having to go to Vietnam, they were racial relation innovators, and were into helping the world become a better place with their music..

We were on set for 4 hours... Dennis has quite a story to tell... It has been a tough year with the loss of his dear friend and bass player Michael Davis. I have a lot of video to process and I will share as we go along...
